I served in The navy with "Coolaid" I tried to find a picture I have from 1977. He was my friend. Fair winds and following sea's my brother T. SOML my fellow AW.
Billy was a very dear friend when I attended Kilgore College. He was very generous and fun to be around. We spent countless days together riding around Lake Cherokee in his MG. We had massive parties at his house during that time, I remember sometime around 1982 one particular party was attended by more than 300 people, BIlly and Carol took it in stride! RIP Billy!
Billy was a bright light in this otherwise dreary world. He was a special person and was loved so much by our whole family. This is so sad to hear but I know he has suffered for a long time. He and his beautiful Mom are together now. Love and prayers to the whole family. Betsy Allan
I had the pleasure of meeting Billy and all the Coolidge family when my parents moved to Lake Cherokee in 1968. Forever grateful this wonderful family was a part of my formative years. My parents even took me to Hawaii when Billy was living there and enjoyed an adventure of a lifetime. Such a kind, charming and beautiful soul and I know a tremendous loss for this beautiful family.
