Betty Jo Vinson Lovelace's Obituary
Betty Jo Vinson Lovelace, 88, of Hallsville passed away June 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Lovelace was born July 19, 1927 in Rusk County, Texas to Mack and Clara Vinson. She was a graduate of Tatum High School and then attended and graduated from BMI School of Business. Mrs. Lovelace worked for Rousseau Drug and Hallsville Drug for many years. She was an active member of the Hallsville Church of Christ until her recent illness.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, James Lovelace; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Trisha Lovelace; granddaughters and husbands, Tara and David Rangel and Lara and Ty Hood;
4 great grandchildren, Christian and Aiden Rangel and Grant and McKenna Hood. And nephew, Steven Vinson of Palm Springs, CA.
Her beloved sister, Irene Shirley, parents, Mack and Clara Vinson and brother, Olian Vinson and his wife, Mary all preceded her in death.
A special thank you to Genevieve Pearce who took care of our “Me Me” for the past year and Linda Bobo for her caring medical advice. Also, special thank you to Dr. Sreeman Jampana and Care Team Hospice for their care, and numerous friends who have visited and called during her illness.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Monday, June 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, friends are welcome join the family for a time of visitation beginning at 3 PM before the service. Burial will follow at Hallsville City Cemetery.
