Dear Uncle Nathan, Letha & Ted, Lana & Larry and boys,
We are all so sorry for your loss. It won't always hurt as much as it does now but we'll always miss her. There has never been anyone any sweeter than Aunt Betty.

Uncle Nathan, Letha, Lana and family: We were greatly saddened to hear of Aunt Betty's passing. We remember her kindness and all of the many prayers she has said for our family. I will treasure the cards and letters she has sent to me over these last months. She loved everyone and we have many memories of times together to carry us through the future. You have our thoughts and prayers as you enter this next chapter in your lives. We love you very much!!! Jeff, Carmen, Maria, Gloria and Isabella Jackson##imported-begin##Jeff Jackson##imported-end##
Nathan,Letha,Lana and families,
We were priviledged to have known and loved your family for many years. Betty made a special imprint on our family. Our hearts were sad that she had to leave us, but this is what she worked and lived for all of her life. Our prayers are with you and you remain in our hearts.

Dear Helms Family, We were sorry to hear about the loss of Sis Helms. When we moved to Texas City they were our first pastors and we stayed there for 30 years.
Lana, your mother gave me a plaque with the Lord's Prayer on it and I still have it hanging over my bed. I think about her often when I see it and will continue to remember her always.
I don't know if you heard, but our brother Dan passed away in September. We really miss him.
May God bless all of you.##imported-begin##Mary Patlan & Murry and Irene Patlan Penland##imported-end##

Dear Bro. Helms & Family, Please know we are praying for you and know how much our sweet Betty will be missed. Anyone who knew her LOVED her. She had an inner beauty beyond description: Her presence was like a breath of fresh air-a gentle breeze-a sweet aroma. Her beautiful smile and twinkle in her eyes sparkled with life. She was a dear friend & it made you feel good being around her. She was a precious "woman of God" who will be greatly missed even though we see her sitting in the presence of her Lord & Savior face to face. Be comforted in the fact that she is with her Jesus & we will see her soon upon His return. Love & prayers. God bless you all!##imported-begin##Pete & Peggy Vasil##imported-end##
We are so sorry for your loss. We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We visited with Mildred yesterday, and although she is brokenhearted, she is holding up pretty well.##imported-begin##Daphine Whiten and Katherine Gustafson##imported-end##
To Bro. Helms, Letha and Lana,
Your wife and mother was a very sweet woman and I enjoyed knowing her and even working with her for a few years. I remember visiting the house in Lufkin and the children's revival Mother and Dad helped put on for the church in Houston.
She will be a blessing in Heaven as she was on earth.##imported-begin##Jean Coffman##imported-end##
Very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Helms was always very friendly and I enjoyed talking with her any time we saw each other. We live just down the street from you on Farmer St. May God give you comfort at this time.##imported-begin##Larry and Peggy Brown##imported-end##
