##imported-begin##Michael Liverman##imported-end##Hello Barry, Randy, Patty and families. Mom let me know about Uncle Ben's passing. I am so terribly sad to hear about it but know how happy he must be now that he back with Aunt Jean. I have so many great memories of them....especially Christmas memories. Life is just so short, isn't. Seems like yesterday Scott was shooting Barry in the head with his BB gun. While I a may not physically be with you I live in ChicagoLand now, I am with you all in spirit. I will pray for you all as you get through this difficult time. We will really miss you Uncle Ben! Ben and Jean were two special people in my life. I have many great memories of them at Lake Cherokee. I handled the sale of the cabin and sold the "big" house on Open Water to them....and sold it for them when they moved back to town. It was my pleasure to work with them.... the Maines property was always spotless....inside and out. A joy to show!!
Jean brought me a game from Abilene when they were "running the roads" in the motor home, and we still enjoy playing it with our grand children.
Praying you find comfort in the wonderful memories I know you have of them.
In Sympathy,
Nell Raper Boren, formerly Lake Cherokee

##imported-begin##Jerry Van Meter##imported-end##I had the pleasure of working for the Maines Family for 13 yrs. and the pleasure was all mine. I will always remember the careing person that Mr. Maines was toward everyone he would meet. He was never to busy to teacher or help in any situation. Not only was he a mentor to me but a great example of how we should all strive to be.
Sincerely, Ricky Ellis
