This picture of my Aunt Beckie has always been one of my favorite photos. I've always admired her beauty and her love for her children.
By far just one of my favorite memories of her would be one summer when I got to ride that big greyhound bus to stay a week with her and my cousins. That week I was there she apparently loved the "Meatloaf" album! Because she played it over and over and over my week I was there. To this day I still know every song, every word on that album.
That same week she taught me some good dancing skills and my favorite "The BUMP'
To me it's by far just 1 week of my life that most definitely meant the world to me ❤️
I thought she was so cool that sometimes I wished she was my mom to.
And it brings me some peace when it comes to my own mom, that she now has her baby sister with her!
I'll miss you so much!

I spent a lot of time at aunt Beckie’s house when I was young and I have so many great memories. When her and momma got together it was always fun. Auntie was the kind of person that if you needed love, food, discipline (we definitely needed that) or a getaway driver she was there for you 100 percent!!! Her smile and laugh could light up a room. I will be forever thankful for the memories and the lessons learned from her. I’m thankful for the way she loved me. Rest in peace auntie I love you forever and a day.
The way she opened her heart, her arms and her home to me and made me feel like family . She changed my life and I was then and will forever be so thankful and grateful for her. She had a twinkle in her eyes and a smile that made you feel safe, happy and loved. I will keep her in my heart forever and treasure the memories always ❤️

Me and Jody going in the chicken coop to get eggs and that rooster wore us both out. We ran to Aunt Beckie and I don’t think we had to worry about that rooster anymore. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and a kind word. Luv you Aunt Beckie.
