I will always remember her coming over to have coffee every morning with my Mom. They would laugh so hard Jean would fall over on the couch. We had lot's of fun making home made ice cream. Great memories with your family that will last forever.
Jean & Charlie were very good friends to my mom & dad. Jean came to my bridal shower, and they both came to our wedding, as well as to my 29th birthday, two weeks after that! Later on, Jean opened her pretty backyard to my husband & me, so that we could use it as a backdrop for our photo Christmas card that year. It was always nice to go over to Jean's house & just chat. She was a sweet person, & very close to my mother. Jean Walden will be greatly missed. --Julie D. McReynolds
Jean & I were very close, for 30 years. My husband Doug & I often went out to eat with Jean & Charlie, & we helped to raise their Dachshund puppies when Charlie was under treatment for cancer. Jean was one of my best, & very closest, friends. We talked on the phone every day. She was always there for me, and I will miss her for the rest of my life. --Jeanene Douthit
