It's so heartbreaking to learn of Barbara's passing. I lost touch with her in the 80's but we were best "bud's" in college @ ETSU. I recently sent a letter to her old address on Flair Dr. in Dallas, hoping the home might still be in the family. We shared so much together in our early years. I'd love to hear from her daughter. We only lived 40 miles apart. I was so happy to see that she finished school and earned her degree in nursing. I also finished mine (after I raised my boys) and retired from teaching in 2017. Perhaps if I'd started searching then, we could have spent some time together. I find it so hard to believe she left this world at such an early age but am looking forward to seeing her again in heaven. So glad she was saved and served our Lord! Could someone who was close to her contact me please?

I loved her dearly, best friend I ever had and was truly looking forward to renewing our friendship in our "retirement" ages.

I only met Barbara a year ago. I immediately felt her love for God & her love for others when she spoke about helping them. I attended a 'People Helper' class with her at church & shared a table with her & Jalissa at the WIN Christmas party. I also had the opportunity to serve with her at a Bill Glass prison event. She was so kind & generous with her time & wisdom. I was looking forward to serving more along side of her & learning from her example. I pray that God will give her family peace that surpasses all understanding, because you know she is with Jesus. I could see through her words & actions that she was a woman of God. Honored to have known her. Love to you all.
