The hearts of the Valley View Baptist Church family are heavy today as we mourn the passing of our beloved sister in Christ, Dr. Barbara Pankhurst. Barbara was a truly faithful and cherished member, whose warmth, wisdom, and dedication touched so many lives within our congregation and community.
While we grieve her loss, we take comfort in the knowledge that she is now home with our Lord and Savior. We hold fast to the promise found in Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
May this truth bring peace to all who are hurting.
Our deepest condolences, prayers, and love go out to Dr. Pankhurst's family, friends, and all who loved her. We pray that the Holy Spirit wraps you in comfort and strength during this difficult time.
