Dear Peggy and Family,
I have such fond memories of our UT Longhorn Football weekends over the years. Art was such a big part of our domino games and card games on those long weekends and I will always miss his spirited political discussions. I will never forget him and hope that you all know how much he will be missed. Peggy, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Penny##imported-begin##Penny Barnett##imported-end##

I worked with Art when I was in the accounting department at Texas Eastman. He was a fine and decent man. I had a lot of respect for him. I enjoyed his sense of humor. I extend my condolences to his family.##imported-begin##Bill Keese##imported-end##
Peggy and family, I am so thankful for the dear, true friends you and Art were to my parents. I am thankful for the blessing of the decades of companionship in following the Longhorns and enjoying retirement and travel together. We will surely miss Art's gracious thoughtfulness, humor and loyalty. We will be praying for you during the days ahead.##imported-begin##Gay Darling##imported-end##

A truly great friend. Shauna & I will miss him a lot. Sorry we cannot make the service Tuesday. We will be at the lake over the Christmas holidays. We remember how talented Art was in taking that beat up cabin into what it is now.##imported-begin##John Leonard##imported-end##
