I have many cherished memories, but one stands above the rest. My mother-in-law was an extraordinary woman whose kindness and generosity made everyone feel welcomed and valued. Throughout my 47 years with the family, she embraced me wholeheartedly, offering unwavering support and guidance.
Anna Sue’s gentle spirit and strong Christian faith were evident in everything she did. We shared countless moments of laughter, tears, and meaningful conversations. She taught me to crochet—patiently encouraging me through every mistake—and we enjoyed preparing many recipes together, including her exceptional enchiladas, which I still make today.
We often spent time playing cards as partners, occasionally managing to outplay the men, much to our delight. Some of my fondest memories were made around the kitchen table, where stories were exchanged and bonds strengthened. I still have that table, its knicks and scratches serving as reminders of the many special moments we shared.
We love you very much and you will always be in our hearts and thanks for always being the shining light in our family.
Love you,
Gregory Grogins, Brian and Bobbie Fulenwider
