Ann Pliler Roberts
Funeral services for Ann Pliler Roberts, 84, of Longview will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the First Christian Church with the Dr. Richard Emerson and the Reverend David Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Thursday morning, February 14, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roberts was born January 14, 1924 in Longview to Bonnie and Effie Pliler and had been a lifetime resident of Longview. For over 25 years, she was a volunteer for the Good Shepherd Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the First Christian Church where she was a member of the Cornerstone Sunday School Class.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 63 years, R. L. "Rusty" Roberts; her children, Jim Roberts and wife Mary Jo and Sheri Roling and husband Tony all of Longview; grandchildren, Laura SuAnne Toney and husband Craig, Scott Roberts and wife Mandy, Sonya Wells and husband Randy, Amy Nelson and husband Neil, and Casey Roling and wife Amanda; 10 great grandchildren; special friend, Florence Hendrix of Houston; and a host of friends and other family members.
