Albert Patrick Goettle's Obituary
Albert Patrick Goettle, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born on March 17, 1953, in Longview to Walter & Elizabeth Goettle. Albert lived a life rooted in family, hard work, and community. He was the devoted husband of Marlla, his loving partner in life, and the proud father of three children Heather (Travis), Amanda (John), Michael (Alisha) and one bonus son Brandon Murray. His legacy continues through six grandchildren Jordan, Hailey, Bubba, Kayla, Colton & Ian, fourteen great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many beloved grand dogs. Albert is survived by his sister Jerri Garza and brother Paul Goettle.
In 1981, Albert founded Albert Goettle Plumbing, a business built with integrity, sweat, and a strong commitment to serving others—values he carried with pride throughout his career. A respected and active member of his community, Albert was also a dedicated member of AMBUCS and the Masonic Lodge, organizations through which he made many lifelong friendships and meaningful contributions.
Albert had a true love for the outdoors. He found peace in fishing, hunting, and just being outside. He also had a lifelong passion for restoring classic vehicles with his “little brother”, often spending hours in the garage.
Those who knew Albert will remember his easy laugh, steady hands, generous heart, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. Whether you knew him as a plumber, a hunting buddy, a fellow lodge member, or simply “Papa,” his presence left a mark that will never fade.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
