I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Hodges' passing. I had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful man for a short time while I worked at Texas Bank & Trust. He would light up the room when he entered, and always had kind words to share with everyone he encountered. I also remember that he would make us laugh often. I came to be friends of Mr. Hodges through a working relationship at ARCO. He was always very positive and a caring man. He would always tell me how good God had been to him. I am the son of Craig and Bonni Kids who were very close to Frank. I had come to know him pretty well the past couple of years and he was one of the best men that I have ever known. I was really struggling with some shoulder problems earlier this year and Frank called me on the phone one night and gave me the best advice I've ever gotten. He told me that God was in control and that it was all part of his plan. He told me that as long as I put it in God's hands everything would be fine. We really enjoyed Mr. Hodges' visit to the Area Agency on Aging of East Texas. When he came to pick up his Ensure, he always had time to speak and joke around with the staff. He always talked to me about my animals and grandchildren. He was a sweet person.
