Zarela Knowles of Longview Tx went to be with our loving father on the afternoon of December 2, 2016. Surrounded by her husband she adored, her three daughters she loved with her whole heart, and her loving sister in law. Zarela was born April 2, 1946 in San Martin, Peru South America to her parents Pedro and Amelia Ruiz.
Zarela was a devoted wife of nearly 47 years to her husband, Stephen Knowles. She had three beautiful daughters that she loved very much. She had many friends that cherished their friendships. She never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to help those in need. She is survived by her loving husband Stephen Knowles; Daughter Patty Morgan and husband Steve; Daughter Jennifer Wilgus and husband Phil; Daughter Katie Striegler and husband Jeremy; adopted daughter Sabrina Williamson and husband Micheal; grandson Trevor Morgan; granddaughters Caitlin Wilgus, Kenzie Wilgus, Laney Wilgus, Kristin Morgan, and Savannah Striegler; brother Pedro Ruiz and wife Judy; Sister Belmira Ruiz; brother in law David Knowles and wife Nan; sister in law Mary Villaume and husband Mark; and several nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her Father and Mother Pedro and Amelia Ruiz, Father in Law and Mother in Law Walter and Evelyn Knowles, and sister Estela Ruiz.
