I lived in Longview in the 80's/90's. I was an avid runner at the time. Bob always hosted the running club at his farm. I've thought of his farm (and his refurbished train cars) from time to time. Bob was a wonderful man -and a good runner.

We want to say how sorry we were to hear of your fathers passing. For the few years that we became part of your reunions we always felt welcome at his house. Bob was an extraordinary person and will be sorely missed by all. Sandy and I want to extend our condolences to you both and may you remember him as he was a strong and faithful father.

##imported-begin##Janelle Hudson##imported-end##Bob Walker helped me and many other people along the way. He was a piece of work in some ways, but a true friend always. He never turned his back on a friend. We will miss him. Our condolences to family and friends of Bob Walker.
##imported-begin##Bob and Vy Avent##imported-end##Me with many friends were sorry to hear of Mr. Walker's death. Robert Nipper, who went to be with the Lord a few months ago, would be sad to hear of our loss today. Robert was a long-time employee as myself, who started in 1968 with Delta. Mr. Walker was a very caring person. He was a unique, fun-loving guy, and I must agree with Daniel Weaver--they did break the mold. Condolences to the Gary, Pam and family. Nita Lindsay

We were sad to hear the news of Bob's passing. When my job brought me to Longview in 1986 I met Bob at The Courtyard Fitness Center. He invited me into his running circle where I made friends that I still keep in touch with today. I even lived at Turkey Creek in the bunkhouse for awhile. He came to Maine to visit me 6 times after I left Longview. I will never forget his kindness to me. His nicknames for us were "Fast Eddy & Black Bread" Our sincerest condolences! Ed & Beverly Doughty
