I had the pleasure of working with Winton for years. He was one of the early men who made TEX. Always calm & reliable managing the critical feedstock system for the plant. Good Man. It wasn't until recent yrs that I learned he was a track star at Kanas. I was walking the indoor track at the the Institute for Heathy Living & Winton was there. We spoke to each other & when I came around the track he was still there. I slowed down to see if he wanted to walk together. I walked slow so he could keep up. As we rounded the bend he said he had to run took off like the track star he was. He still had it.
