During my 17 years as pianist at North Side Baptist Church and 12 years as a member of The Sounds of Joy, Wilton was always there. He was such a dear friend, brother in Christ, the best guitar player ever, and cannot be replaced by anyone. Mary was so supportive of his love of music, and joined in as they spent many retired years entertaining in nursing homes, and anywhere they could lift up someone's spirit. To Mary and family: you are in my prayers, and I will love you always.

Wilton was the bass guitar player for the quartet at North Side Baptist Church when I was there; seems like a hundred years ago, now. I have wonderful memories of the fellowship we enjoyed all those years. He will be missed.
