Wilton L. Buckner's Obituary
Graveside services for Wilton L. Buckner, age 81 of Henderson will be held Friday June 10, 2011 at 10:00am at the Mays Cemetery with Rev. Bill Tisdale and Rev. Johnny Newton officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Buckner died Wednesday June 8, 2011 at local nursing home.
Wilton was born January 25, 1930 in New Salem, and was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his wife Tommie Nell Buckner, and his parents Will J. and Elsie Mae Irwin.
Survivors include a son Kent Buckner and wife Kim of Henderson, daughter JaNan Abbott and husband Gary of Henderson, grandchildren Kolby Buckner of College Station, Kale Buckner of Henderson, Joshua Abbott and wife Michelle of Gilbert, AZ. Great grandchildren Grace Elizabeth and Mercy Elinor Abbott both Gilbert, AZ. Brothers James Buckner of Henderson, and Wendell Ray Buckner of Austin, sisters Elise Hammack and husband Bert of Fort Worth, and Elaine Coffman and husband Jimmy of Fort Worth, and several nieces and nephews.Also special care givers Arlene White and Angie Thompson
The family will meet friends from 8am until 9:15am Friday at the funeral home.
