Graveside services for Wilmer Joe Hammond, 90, will be held at New Providence Cemetery on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at noon with Reverend Howard Fadner officiating. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Hammond passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Mesquite. TX.
Joe Hammond was born to Joseph Henry and Berta Pruitt Hammond in Longview/ Judson on May 11, 1928. He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Hammond and son Joseph Henry Hammond.
Joe Hammond is survived by his daughters Sue and husband Bill Cotton of New Mexico, Linda Norton of Austin, TX, Kaye Wehinger of Garland, TX; sister Mary Nell Hammond McMahon of Richardson, TX; eight grandchildren and twenty great and great great grandchildren.
