Wilma Moody Spencer's Obituary
Wilma Moody Spencer age 89, of Longview passed away June 23, 2017. She was born to Clarence and Lola Cope in Camp County TX August 21, 1927. It was in Pittsburg, TX that Wilma attended local schools growing up. Later in life she moved to Longview. She was a faithful, long-time member of the Greggton Missionary Baptist Church. Her life was her family and her family was her life, especially her precious grand, great-grand and great, great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Wilma’s memory are her daughter Teresa Moody-Bloodworth and her husband James; two granddaughters Lynn Bristol and her husband Rick and Sunshine West and her husband Steven; numerous great grand and great, great-grandchildren; one sister Vivian Robertson and a host of extended family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all.
Wilma’s beloved husband and “Love of her life” Herbert Moody, son Mike Moody and grandson Michael Moody all preceded her in passing.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation Monday, June 26, 2017 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 11am-1pm. Then graveside services to be conducted by her two special great nephews Caleb and Jacob Ross at 2:30pm that day at Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County outside Pittsburg on the corner of FM 556 & CR3320.
