Willine "Willie" McKinney
Longview - Willine "Willie" Jannette Kersey McKinney of Longview was called home by her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2012 at her home. She was born on February 13, 1927 in Cason, TX to William Henry Kersey and Clemmie Lee Goolsby.
Willie was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Samantha "Sam" Ann McKinney Thibodeaux, brothers Robert Kersey, Basil Kersey, J.W. Kersey and sisters Ruby Opal Kersey and Geraldine Wilkinson.
Willie was a business owner in Longview for over 20 years. In retirement loved working with flowers and gardening , crocheting. A member of Emmanuel Lane Baptist Church and was a prayer warrior.
She is survived by daughter Janet and husband Rafael Munoz, son Ralph McKinney and wife Linda and grandson Johnathan, son Byron Thibodeaux, granddaughter Tabatha, grandsons Sammuel and James, grandson Shannon Lomax and wife Kellie, great granddaughters Kaitlyn, Emily, Haley, great grandson Cody, Great granddaughter Kim and husband Cody Holt and great-great granddaughter Jordan. Sister Great Jo Coltharp and brother James and wife Sue Vian. Host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at Emmanuel Lane Baptist Church, Longview on
December 8th at 11 AM with Pastor Jim Dickens officiating.
