Frances Hanks
Frances Hanks, of Hallsville, went to meet our Lord and Savior on January 7, 2007. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Frances was born in Honey Island, Texas on July 14, 1939.
Frances was a strong Christian woman active in her faith. She lived a life filled with the love of her children and grandchildren. She spoke of the happiness they brought her in her journals and to others. Those who knew her and loved her will miss her greatly. She is home now walking with the Father.
She is the daughter of the late William and Daisy Hanks, and the mother of the late Pamela Bradford. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Nathan Hanks and sister, Mary Paluch.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Bradford, Pete Hendele and daughter Daisy Kelley. Her grandchildren, Kristina and husband Jeff Gaston, Karrie and husband Trent Tutt, Jan Michael and wife Katie Bradford, Kameron and husband Caleb, and Marshal Hendele and Tristan Kelley. Her great grandchildren, Breanna Horak, Bianca Brown, Trinity and Tatum Tutt, Ryland Gaston, and Brinklie Brown, sister, Mattie Hammonds and husband Jim. She will always be our beloved Nana. She is also survived numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Marshall. Burial will be in Hallsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
