I was saddened to learn of Willie Belle's death. What a lovely lady she was. I lived in Longview for 2 and a half years and played a lot of duplicate bridge during that time. Willie Belle was a smart lady who knew how to play bridge. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren! This is a very sad day for me. I have so many happy memories of your Mother. She was a a huge part of my childhood. I think I spent almost as much time at 705 E. Melton as I did my own house. She was a wonderful person and I loved her very much. Jane Ellis, I am sure we probably drove her crazy at times, but we also provided her with many happy memories, too. I still remember when she took us to see "The Last Picture Show" and made us get up in the middle of the show and go home because it was just "too bad for us to see".
