Willie L. Adams Sr.'s Obituary
Graveside services for Willie L. Adams Sr., age 82 of Henderson, will be held Friday December 19, 2014 at 10:00am at the Davis Cemetery with Rev. Dean Grigsby officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Adams was born June 18, 1932 in Coushatta, LA. to Jeff and Myrtis Elizabeth Adams, and died Sunday December 14 at his home. Willie was a retired engineer in the construction industry, and was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Billie Martiel, parents, brothers Jim, Frank, Walter and John Adams, sisters Ruth McCrory, Alamae Bonnett, Ozzie Swan, and Mary Walton.
He is survived by his wife Dean Adams of Henderson, sons Robert Adams and wife Audrey of Palestine, Wayne Adams of Henderson, Willie Adams Jr. and wife Jeanette of Allen, and James Adams and wife Rose of San Ramona, CA., daughters Charlotte Minter and husband Loren of Henderson, Anita Eason and husband Danny of Henderson, Vicky Polve and husband Kinney of Henderson, sister Alice Doskocil, 25 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Walker, Eddie Turner, John Fancher, Billy Don Jimmerson, Clyde Hudman, Kenneth Wilson, and Johnny Penny.
Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
