William Bill Langston Smith's Obituary
Graveside services for William Bill Langston Smith, age 51, of Henderson will be held at 10:00AM Monday October 22, 2007 at Strong Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky Ricks officiating. Interment will be in the Strong Cemetery under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Smith passed away Thursday October 18, 2007 in a Tyler Hospital.
Bill was born January 1, 1956 in Henderson, He was a graduate of Henderson High School, and attented Kilgore Jr. College where he studied drafting He worked for the Henderson Daily News as a printer while he was in high school. He later worked for Brown & Root in Houston as a draftsmen. He was an independent artist. William Bill Langston Smith was a independently free spirited person, and loved his Harley Davidson and friends. He was also a Baptist.
Survivors include daughter Jennifer Smith Claveloux of Tyler, son William Clayton Smith of Henderson, mother Billie Jean Barton of Longview, sisters Janet Smith Maxwell of Kilgore, Donna Smith Timmons of Gladewater, brother Harold Wayne Smith of Longview. He is also survived by grandson Presley Claveloux of Tyler, and soon to be grandaughter, several nieces and nephews and his dog Lefty.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 2pm until 4pm Sunday.
