WILLIAM W. ?BILL? ALDRIDGE
Bill went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 26, 2007. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was born December 27, 1929 to Jesse and Effie Mathney Aldridge and was reared in Pensacola, Florida. He proudly served for four years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Trailmobile and Stemco.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, December 29th at
Grace Hill Cemetery with Larry Slaback officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be Friday evening 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Effie Mathney Aldridge and his brothers, Jesse and Blondel Aldridge. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lois; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Larry Slaback; three grandchildren, Amy, Rebecca, and Michelle Slaback; special sister-in-law, Lavern Smeltzer; a special aunt and uncle, Evelyn and Alan Ellington; special cousin June Spann along with numerous other cousins, nephews, and nieces.
