I am so sorry that we could not be there with you. I hope that everyone is well. I know that even though we know he is with our savior, it still leaves us with a feeling that we cannot explain because of the loss. I will always have great memories of Mr. Vilyard.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of William. We have a lot of good memories from knowing him at Longview First Baptist. He was a very caring individual that will missed Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you in the days to come.

I first met Gene and Bill while attending First Baptist Church with them and singing in the choir together. My husband and I were honored to be asked to substitute in their beloved Bridge Group quite often. Bill was always so friendly and helpful.
After we moved away and later joined another church, our paths didn't cross as often, but Bill and Gene have always been admired by me for their steadfast love for each other and their family.
His little sister, Diane. has kept me informed since. One never forgets those sweet, early in life friendships and Bill will be greatly missed by all who chanced to know him throughout his lifetime
He is safely at home now able to do most anything his sweet heart desires, especially dinging praises, as he awaits the arrival of his precious loved ones who adore him and Jesus dearly.
