Wiliam V. Wilson
Funeral services for William V. Wilson, 75, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Friday, July 18, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road, with the Reverend Jim Barksdale and Reverend Kenneth Bowden officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Parks Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, July 17, 2003 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilson was born on May 19, 1928 in Jefferson County, Alabama to Victor and Irene Wilson. He passed away on July 14, 2003 at his residence.
He was a machine shop manager for Highland Pump, a Deacon of Valley View Baptist Church, a member of Gideon?s International and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
A loving husband, and father, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wilson of Longview; daughters, Victoria Autrey of DeQueen, Arkansas; Wanda Wilson of Richardson, Texas; granddaughters, Holly Gafford, Jordan Holt, great granddaughters, Kalee Telischak, Elora Wheeler; and sister, Mildred Forrester of New Boston, Texas.
