William Paul Tramel's Obituary
William Paul Tramel, 74, of Longview, Texas, Passed away June 5, 2014, with his loved ones at his side. We are celebrating his life with a visitation on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Rader Funeral Home, Longview from 6:00 p.m. till 8 p.m. Services will be held the next day, Monday, June 9, 2014 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park, Longview.
Paul was born July 1, 1939 in Pittsburg, Texas to Zollie Ewing Tramel and Glaida Ann Tramel.
At 17 years of age he joined the U.S. Navy and served as a U.S. Navy Seabee for 4 years and another 2 years in the reserves.
He married the love of his life Jorgia Tramel October 9, 1960. They then moved to Longview, Texas in 1961 and he pursued a career in the refrigeration field, soon after he started his own business, 3D Commercial Refrigeration until he retired in 2003.
He was a beloved husband and father of three children, seven grandchildren, and two soon to be great grand children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Jorgia Tramel; daughter and son in law, Dena and Kevin Porter, sons and daughters in law, David and Tracie Tramel, Darren and Devin Tramel; grandchildren Justin Tramel and wife Cortney, Shelby Tramel, Connor Tramel, Lacy Springer, Landon Springer, Taylor Tramel, Max Tramel, and soon to be great-grandchildren Charlee Grace and Ella Kate.
