William Todd Duncan
William Todd Duncan passed into the arms of our Lord on July 22, 2008 at his home, following a battle of liver cancer.
William attended Pine Tree schools and was a member of Longview Baptist Temple. William was born on Friday May 13th to Elwyn and Evelyn Duncan.
William was preceded in death by his Father Elwyn Duncan and nephew Conan Matthew Culland.
William had a kind and loving heart and never met a stranger. He was a loving son, a devoted brother, and a loyal friend. William will live in our hearts forever.
The family will receive friends at the funeral Thursday July 24, 2008 from 6pm – 8pm.
There will be a graveside service at Ten O'clock AM Friday July 25, 2008 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverend David Mayhan of Woodland Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
William is survived by his mother, Evelyn Duncan Daniels of Longview, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sherry Duncan of Arp, Texas; Sister Elaine Duncan of Brownsville, Texas, sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Reverend David Mayhan of Gilmer, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Michael Crotty of Apapko, Florida; Ten nieces and nephew, ten great nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. His best friend since childhood Raymond Petty and loyal dog Boots.
The family wishes to thank the offices of Dr. Perry Lewis, Good Shepherd Medical Center Radiology Department and Legacy Hospice. His nurse Maria Watts. Prayers phone calls and visits will never be forgotten.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Hall, David Willett, Sr. Mark Willett, Raymond Petty, Scott Duncan and Brian Duncan.
