William S. Adams' Obituary
Funeral services for William Bill S. Adams, 81, of Henderson are set for 2:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Rader Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Sceroler and Rev. Kimberly Hagedorn officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery under the direction of Rader funeral home of Henderson.
Mr. Adams died Tuesday, March 06, 2007, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
He was born January 2, 1926, in Henderson to Wylie Luther and Verdie Davis Adams.Mr. Adams was a retired mechanic, US Navy veteran of WWII, and a member of Hillview Baptist Church.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Fae Loftice Adams; sons, William Don Adams and Jerry Wayne Adams; sisters, Opal Hunt and Bernice Brooks.
Surviving is his daughter, Connie Holland of Beckville; Grandsons, Brandon Holland and wife Samantha of Anchorage, Alaska and Landon Holland and wife Robyn of Jacksonville; great granddaughters, Kallie Holland and Laynee Holland; brothers, Dennis Adams and wife Mildred of Henderson, Joe P. Adams of Henderson.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Holland, Landon Holland, Joe W. Adams, Billy Gene Davis, Kyle Bryan, and Tim Storer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Thorne, Daniel Hunt, and Brendan Sceroler.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, TX 75701 or to the church of choice.
