William "Jack" Parker
Services for William "Jack" Parker, 73, of Longview will be held at 3 PM Friday, May 1, 2009 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He was born in Bryson City, NC to Jack and Mary Parker on May 15, 1935. He passed away on April 28, 2009 in a Longview nursing facility. Mr. Parker proudly served his country with the United States ARMY. He was a mechanic having most recently worked as a mechanic and fabricator for Wesco. Mr. Parker was one who would always go out of his way to help people in need. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pat Parker of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Maria Parker of Hallsville; granddaughters, Lauren and Amber Parker; half-brother, Billie Ewing of Marshall; and half-sister, Sharon Osmond of AR. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the funeral home.
