William Martin Herritage's Obituary
A Mass for William Martin Herritage, 60, of Longview, will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2007, at St. Matthew?s Catholic Church with Monsignor Xavier Pappu as celebrant. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Wednesday evening in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., and the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM.
Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
Mr. Herritage died Monday, October 15, 2007, at his residence.
He was born January 2, 1947 in Longview, TX and was a
lifelong resident. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Willene Herritage.
Mr. Herritage was the proud owner of Mission Sales in Longview, a tool salesman for 40 years, a member of the St. Matthew?s Catholic Church and a 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus.
Martin?s passions were his church, music, hunting and attending sporting events with his son.
Pallbearers will be Michael Moody, Randy Cook, Zach Cook, Tim Kuhn, Dennis Hazzard, and Brian Johnson.
Surviving Mr. Herritage is his loving wife of 34 yrs, Mary Margaret Herritage and son, William Martin Herritage II; sister, Martha Bodenheim of Garden Ridge, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon Brown, Jr., Lynn Brown and Gwen Ingram, all of Longview and Sharon Jones of Terrell, TX; father-in-law, Vernon Brown, Sr. of Longview, and numerous nieces and nephews.
