William L. Dixon's Obituary
William L. Dixon, age 57, born July 8, 1951 passed away November 5, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline Dixon and three daughters, Heather A. Dixon of Mesa, Arizona, Kelsey Dixon and Stormy Dixon of Gilmer, Texas and one step-son Brandon Holden of Longview, Texas.
In addition, William Dixon is survived by his parents, William L. Dixon, Sr. and Georgia Dixon of Gilmer, Texas. Other loving family members include brother, Eldon Mackey, deceased, and his son and daughter Brian Mackey and Tammy Mackey. His brother Weldon R. Mackey of College Station and his wife Peggy, and two children, Byron K. Mackey and Tara D. Mackey also survive him.
Other survivors include his Aunt Jean Campbell and her children, Stan Campbell, Craig Campbell, Blake Campbell of Prarie Grove, Arkansas; Aunt Lena Hammond and her son Dr. Michael Hammond of Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Uncle Boyd Dixon of Prarie Grove, Arkansas and daughter Kim Martinez of Longview, Texas and son William Dixon, Jr. of Prarie Grove, Arkansas and Aunt Sue Herren and Jerry Herren and their children, Sherry Calmelat, Candy Overby, and Bo Herren of Las Vegas, Nevada.
William L.Billy Dixon graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and was employed for the last eight years at the Home Depot in Longview, Texas where he touched the hearts of all that worked with him.
Visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home on Thursday November 6, 2008 between 6pm and 8pm.
Services will be held at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview, Texas on Friday November 7, 2008 at 4:00 pm
