William L. Harrison Jr.'s Obituary
William Lee Harrison, 91, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Saturday March 23, 2019 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation will be at 1:30pm before the service. Interment will take place at Rosewood Park.
“Bubby” was born November 6, 1927 in Memphis Tenn. To William and May Harrison. He served in the US Army after World War II in the Military Police Corps. In 1974 he moved to Houston, TX where he worked for Clampitt Paper Co for over 30 years. After his retirement he moved to Longview, TX to be near his sister and her family.
“Bubby” is survived by his sister, Mary Dulweber, niece Susan McWhorter and husband David, nephews Mark Dulweber and wife Susie, Vincent Dulweber and wife Karen, John Dulweber and wife Angie, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Bill Dulweber and niece Margie Garland.
The family would like to thank all the staff members at Parkview on Hollybrook. Their loving care of “Bubby” while he was a resident was so special.
