William Garey "Gramps" Wellerman
Graveside services for William Garey "Gramps" Wellerman, 68, of Longview will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Rosewood Park with Rick Heacock officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Wellerman was born on August 3, 1940 in West Monroe, LA to William Ernest and Lois Saxon Wellerman. He passed away on January 11, 2009 in a Longview hospital. He was a supervisor with Brown & Root for 33 years before retiring. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Wellerman was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gayle Wellerman; children and their spouses, Blake and Janet Wellerman, Livingston, LA, Dana and David Lett, Longview, TX, Scott and Crystal Wellerman, Hallsville, TX, Rick Heacock, West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Robby Noe, Amanda Wellerman, Brandon Lett, Bryan Lett, Zak Wellerman, Trey Wellerman; great grandchildren, Braden Noe, Logan Westbrook, Kaitlyn Lett; one sister, Marty McCurdy, Eros, LA, and many nieces and nephews.
