William James "Bill" Gammans, passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 87. Bill was born in San Antonio on August 22, 1937, the second child of Robert and Velma Gammans. Bill graduated from South San Antonio High School in Read Obituary
Scott and Patti, I have fond memories of your dad from our swim team days. I smile as I can still picture Mr. Gammans as the starter (Take your mark) for many races as well as walking the side of the pool to make sure we followed the rules. I remember many out of town meets where your dad was always prepared with tents, etc. to shade us from the sun at places like the EGGGS meet in Garland or at the Dad's Club in Houston. May God's peace be with you at this time.

Sending condolences and prayers to Scott and Patti. Mr. Gammans always threw the greatest Halloween party at their home when Scott, Patti and I all attended St. Mary's. He was always kind a patient with a house full of little kids.
