William "Willie" C. Cravens' Obituary
Funeral services for William “Willie” Cravens, 82, of Longview will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 12pm. A rosary will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Sunday, April 14 starting at 6pm with a visitation to follow until 8. Mr. Cravens went to be with his Lord in the evening of April 11, 2019 in Longview TX.
Willie was born in Longview TX, on January 2, 1937 to parents Jesse and Dora Cravens. Upon his graduation, Willie enlisted in the US Army, and faithfully served this county until 1984. Willie was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years.
Willie was preceded in death by his father Jesse Cravens and Dora Kern, and brother John Cravens. Those left to cherish their memory of Willie his close friend, Betty Wheeler; brother, James Kern Cravens; sister-in-law Dolly Cravens; niece Rita Fyffe; nephews Jack Cravens and his wife Joyce, Mike Cravens and his wife Bettye, and Chris Cravens and his wife Doris; his grand-nephew Brian Fyffe grand-niece, Kristin Corrin; great-grand-nephews Dakota and Coleman; and great-grand-nieces Regan, Khloe, and Laura.
