William C. Vogel's Obituary
Services for William C. Vogel, 84, of Longview will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2002 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Rev. Phil Fenton and the Rev. Ed Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. Mr. Wogel passed away on Friday, September 27, 2002 in a Longview hospital.
Mr. Vogel was born on February 9, 1918, in Dallas, Texas Wilhelm C. and Emma Vogel. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Corps during World War II. A Longview resident since 1934, Mr. Vogel worked for Moore Brothers Lumber and RLM Construction Co. He was a member of the Firtst Lutheran Church of Longview.
Mr. Vogel was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Dorothy Vogel. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Vogel of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Jon Karl and Lorraine Vogel of Longview; stepson, Chrles Holland of Longview; granddaughter, jennifer Nunley and her husband Shane of Diana; and three great grandchildren, Heather Wood, Hailey Nunley, and Mercedes Nunley, all of Diana.
