William Bryant's Obituary
Memorial services for William H. ?Bill? Bryant, 80, of Lake Cherokee will be held Monday, May 31, 2004 at First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Jonathan Jehorek officiating.
Mr. Bryant was born September 15, 1923, in Queen City Texas to G.L. and Madge Bryant. He graduated from Longview High School in 1941. After graduation he joined the military and served in the 82nd Airborne during WWII and the Korean War. He retired from the service as a First Sergeant in 1966.
Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his sister Lillian Ada Savage. He is survived by his loving wife Janet; one brother, E.L. ?Tex? Bryant of Longview; three sisters, Reba Sweeney and Margie Russell of Longview and Ruby Don Summers of South Carolina; children David Morgan, Nannette Wright? and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will live forever in our hearts.
