Carmen, Sherrie, Mark, and families, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of your dad that go back as long as I can remember. We always looked forward to his visits when we were at GranMa’s house and would get so excited when he arrived; he always made us laugh out loud. I remember well his trademark work jumpers, the mischievous glint in his eye when he told a joke, and his classic good looks (the perfect mix of George Bush, Sr. and Tom Landry!). He always had time for us when we were in town, showing us his miniature horses and goats, or his very cool Jeep Wrangler. And, I always loved that, even as an adult, he called GranMa “Sister” instead of Dorothy. He was a man of strong family values and integrity and I have always admired him so much!
Love and prayers,
Ellen
