William B. McCulloch, JR's Obituary
William B. McCulloch, Jr., age 84 passed away at home with his loving family by his side. He was born to William and Myrtle McCulloch, Sr., in Hubbard, Texas February 9, 1928. He grew up in East Texas and graduated from Kilgore high school.
After high school William entered the United States Navy and honorable served our country. He met Norma Jean Mackey and later they were married February 17, 1950 and for the next 62 years loved and raised a family together. Later they moved to Kilgore where he owned and operated a service station. William entered the manufacturing industry and became a Safety Engineer. Woodworking was his passion. William and the family moved to Longview in 1984 and it was here they made their home. He was a member of the Winterfield Methodist Church in Longview for many years.
William is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma McCulloch, two children, Mark McCulloch and Jeanne Wesley and her husband Al Durante.
There will be graveside services for William Friday, October 31, 2012 at Alpine Cemetery, Longview starting at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Woman's Center of East Texas in Longview. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home, Longview
