Willard Henderson, Jr.'s Obituary
Graveside services for Willard Henderson, Jr., 71, of Henderson, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Sceroler officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Henderson died Monday, June 6, 2011 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 9, 1940 in Corsicana, Texas to Willard Henderson, Sr. and Irene Wooten Henderson. He had lived in Henderson since 1985. He was a retired boilermaker and had worked for the City of Henderson in the street department. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving is his mother; Irene Henderson of Henderson; daughters, Linda Pickard and husband Skip of Baytown, Lisa Dagle of Mont Belvieu, and Stacie Hatcher and husband Wayne of Liberty; son, Gary Henderson of Baytown; sister, Irene Yarborough and husband Curtis of Henderson; brothers, Gene Henderson and wife Gladys of Crosby and Willie Henderson of LaGrange, GA; 8 grandchildren; Chas Johnson, Jason Cox, Brittney Hatcher, Seth Holmes, Trey Hatcher, Kelsey Dagle, Alexandria Henderson and Kamryn Henderson; and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
