Wenert Orr Trich Jr.'s Obituary
Wenert Trich Jr., 86, of Longview passed peacefully in the late evening of June 15, 2019 surrounded by his family. A time of fellowship to celebrate Wenert’s life will be held at his family home.
Wenert Jr. was born on December 17, 1932 in Kilgore TX to parents Wenert “Shorty” and Thelma Trich. He was a avid member of the BSA attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Upon his graduation from High School, Wenert enrolled at Kilgore Jr. College where he played football, and later at the Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia AR, where he attained a Bachelor in Petroleum Geology. An avid fly fisherman, Wenert saw the world and lived out his dreams; and he was always looking for his “next great adventure”.
Wenert was preceded in death by his parents “Shorty” and Thelma Trich. Those left to cherish their memories of Wenert include his son, Nathan Trich of Longview; daughter Lisa Swinger; grandchildren Brittany and William Trich; Michelle Trich; and brother Dick Trich. He will also be remembered by his numerous friends near and far.
