JUST SAYING GOODBYE TO A FRIEND##imported-begin##RICHARD HEFLEY##imported-end##
Joey:
I just learned that your dad passed away and wanted to express my condolences to you and your family. It seems like yesterday we were in 6th grade and I can see your dad with his big cowboy hat on. He always made me laugh and remember the huge picture of me your parents blew up. Such fond memories of such a good man. May you find comfort through those memories in the days ahead.
All my love,

Wendel was a classmate of mine at Avinger School, and we graduated in 1946. He was one of the best basketball players of his day, and we stayed in touch over the years at ball games and thru mutual friends Don Alfod, Joe Stewart, Tommy Walker, and others. Wendell had lots of friends, and he will be missed by us.##imported-begin##Mary##imported-end##
