Funeral Services for Weldon Callaway, 77, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 15, 2002 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road, with the Reverend Bob Bowen officiating.  Burial will follow in Rosewood Park.
He was born on November 8, 1925 in Linden, Texas to Minard and Gertha Callaway.  He passed away on Wednesday morning, November 13, 2002 in a Longview nursing facility.
A Longview resident for 25 years, Mr. Callaway was in Oilfield Sales with W.B. Callaway in Kilgore and was a member of the Greggton United Methodist Church.
Mr. Callaway was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife, Billie Callaway of Longview; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Meeks of Austin, Susie and Dale Edmiaston of Granbury; grandson, Chad Bridges and his wife Claudia of Houston;, grandson, Andrew Edmiaston of Granbury, granddaughters, Miranda Yeary of California, and Catherine Meeks of Fort Worth; great grandson, Matthew Bridges of Houston; and three sisters, Jaunell, Viva, and Evelyn.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday, November 14, 2002 at the funeral home.
