Weldon Lony Bull
Graveside services for Weldon Lony Bull, 86, of Longview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Reverend Welton Jones officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
Mr. Bull was born July 7, 1928 in Crawford, OK to Lony and Maud Bull. He moved to Beaver County, OK in 1930 with his parents and attended school at Perryton, TX, where he graduated in 1945. He entered the U.S. Army in 1946 and was honorably discharged on February 24, 1948.
Mr. Bull married Ruby Ann Patton on April 9, 1949 in Clayton, NM, and they had two daughters, Cynthia Ann and Patricia Jan. He was a farmer and worked at Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America for 37 years, retiring in April, 1986. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Perryton, TX and the VFW.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 65 years, Ruby Ann Bull; children, Patricia Jan Yohn and husband Martin, and Cynthia Ann Herman; grandchildren, Todd Yohn and wife Erin, David Herman, Amanda Yohn, Chris Yohn and wife Lindsey, Matt Yohn and wife Kelly, Andrew Yohn, Susan Yohn, Betsy Yohn, Jennifer Hampton and husband David, Sarah Odell and husband Chris; 14 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Darlene Bowles and Emma Fae Carroll, and brother, Harley Bull, and Grandson, Brian Charles Yohn. Also, his parents, Maud and Lony Bull.
