Wayne Yandle's Obituary
Wayne Yandle of Henderson passed away on April 22, 2014, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
Wayne was born November 4, 1928, in Tatum, Texas, to Thomas and Dora Yandle. Wayne graduated from Henderson High School in 1947. He married his wife Bermadine “Bean” Rodgers Yandle on May 12, 1950, in Laird Hill, Texas.
He was in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1955. He was a member of The Living Word Church, Rusk County Rodeo Association; he was also a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and a lifetime Rusk County Go-Texan Committeeman. Wayne worked in the oilfield most of his life before retiring from D & W Oilfield Maintenance.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bean Yandle; son, Donnie Yandle; and parents, Thomas and Dora Yandle.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Loma Yandle; daughter, Teri Yandle Dent; daughter-in-law, Sandy Yandle; granddaughter, Cheyenne Yandle; and grandson, Austin Dent all of Henderson; brother-in-law and his wife, Elton and Joann Rodgers of Baytown; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. April 24, 2014, at Rader Funeral Home in Henderson. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. April 25, 2014, at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Lee Bryan and Deacon Gene Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be Herbert Davis, Austin Dent, Ronald Ellis, Larry King, Bruce Sproles, Byron Underwood, Joe Woodland, and Bob Young.
