Wayne L. Terry, 73 of Longview, TX passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019, surrounded by family. Born August 16, 1946 at St Davids Hospital in Austin, TX. He retired from South Western Bell and moved to Longview TX in 2009. Read Obituary
Many years ago when we were young, Wayne, Mary, Marvin, and I went on a horseback ride through the Palo Dura State Park and Canyon. We had a picnic lunch and had a great time even though none of us were horse proficient. Wayne could always find something comical about most any situation.
I enjoyed working with Wayne at southwestern bell. He had a somewhat humorous outlook on life. My condolences to the family. Nathan R. Hannemann
Wayne was a man after my own heart - a fellow cat lover. Gary will miss trading "hot stock tips" with him when we were together. He had so many interests and things he enjoyed that life seemed like a daily joy for him - even through his illness. We will miss him. ..Gary, Susan, Taylor and Steven
I’ll never forget Wayne reading the newspaper aloud in the breakroom. He certainly had a different interpretation on many words. And he never passed up on all the delicious pot luck dinners we would have at the phone factory! Rest in peace, brother Wayne.
