Wayne Lee Harris' Obituary
Wayne Lee Harris, 92, of Hallsville happily joined his wife, Ann, and sons, Ricky and Stacy, the evening of October 1, 2018. He was surrounded by family and knew he was loved, but he was past ready to go. Many different people will remember him in many different ways. His family will remember his teasing nature and his sometimes-aggravating stubbornness. His friend and neighbor will remember their long chats on the back porch while smoking cigars. His overweight dogs will remember that he gave out treats, three times a day, every day. Some may remember him by his unique sense of style & his facial hair. Everyone will remember his love of food. He loved being outside on his tractor and was always restless to be doing something productive. He enjoyed reading and watching movies, especially starring Jennifer Lawrence. In his prime, he and his wife, Ann, were always on the go, either on his motorcycle or in their RV traveling cross-country. He loved to share his memories with people, he lived a full life and he was proud of it. The ones he left behind already miss him, but we take comfort in all the fantastic memories he left us with.
P.S. You said you wanted bagpipes, so we got you bagpipes.
